The development of the techniques remote sensing and software used to deal with data packets or digital technologies, control vast areas in describing diagnosing formologies earth, which have become necessary studying natural phenomena on knowing origin earth interaction factors that affect it predicting future changes through Monitor, analyze compare. purpose presented study was investigate verify Hill Najaf-Karbala location, by applying GIS template. To fulfill this goal search, applied Digital Elevation Models (DEM) images were study. generation DEM for a geographic database is important many applications. ArcGIS V10.5 achieve analysis area goal. It one major processing including elevation assignment systems, traditional approach manually identify contours from existing topographic map. physical make-up land, manufactured features. Moreover, Image aid thought all features (series hills, small knoll, Gullies, Spurs, gully valley). Additionally, spur sloping ridge jutting out side hill, some time terrain, hillsides been eroding form series gullies separated spurs. In study, every bend contour either indicates addition, crucial be able tell spur. Finally, verified most regions Najaf Karbala lie terrain formed big hills.
